The Wasteland Watch

I built this not too long ago, and the original design gave me trouble. After revisiting and tweaking it, I think I have a handle on it. I present the Wasteland watch, modeled after some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Fallout designs.

Yes, it's upside down. I didn't catch that until after.

A few notes from these photos: I've switched the watch out to use a black date dial that I don't have pictures of right now. It's truer, I think, to the instrument dial approach.

It's a Seiko NH-35 movement, losing 1-2 seconds per day on average (thought some batches are more accurate), and you can beat on it all you want.

I can build these for about $600, or $700 with the steel band. It takes a month or two to get parts and to build it, but that price is inclusive of shipping.
